Pamela Beckerman, Director
Pamela Beckerman is the director of Columbus Circle and Midtown West and Riverdale Music Togethers. She has been involved with Music Together® for over fourteen years; first as a parent in the program with her own young children, then as a teacher and finally, in 1997, she became the director of her own Music Together center. She is the very proud mother of three boys who all love music.
Mia De Jesus
Mia De Jesus began singing at the age of eight and soon realized she was destined to pursue music. Having graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston with a degree in Professional Music, Mia has been recording music and singing with local bands through high school and college. Mia has has been teaching Music Together for over one year and is so excited to have started this new chapter in her life. We're thrilled to have has as she brings with her a warmth and passion for children, families and Music Together. She's also the mommy to a lovely little girl, Sofia.
Stearns Matthews
Stearns Matthews has appeared regionally with Philadelphia Music Theatre Works, Philadelphia's newest theatrical troupe devoted to presenting contemporary and cutting-edge material. He has performed at such venues as Carnegie Hall, Riverside Church, NJPAC, and Spoleto Festival USA with the Westminster Symphonic Choir and the esteemed Westminster Choir. Currently, Stearns is becoming very active in the cabaret scene in New York City and was a MAC Award nominee for Best Male Debut 2009. Hailing from Pennsylvania with a B.Mus. in Music Theater from Westminster Choir College, we are thrilled to welcome Stearns to our Music Together center as we know he'll be a great hit with both children and adults alike!
Beth Fischer
Beth Fischer is a soprano and actress whose credits include numerous plays, new opera, cabaret, and choral singing. She has been teaching Music Together since 2001. She has B.A. from the College of William and Mary and has taken graduate studies in Developmental Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. Beth also has a private voice and beginning piano studio for children and adults and is the co-director of the Holy Trinity Children’s Choir. She is a single mother to an eleven year old daughter Lisette, who also loves all things musical.
